Maybe pass by New Upper Changi Road? And since its express service, I suggest a 5XX number. Maybe 510?

It cannot pick up too many passengers as it cannot use DDs due to height limitations at CGA tunnel.

Is the demand from CCK to CGA so high? I think stopping at Jalan Toa Payoh is a good idea. Maybe can pass through bedok and use New upper changi road/ECP to get to CGA.

1) Change 5, 151 and 154 to use Toa Payoh instead of shooting straight on the PIE (like 506)
2) Change 54 to use stevens rd and 132 to Newton Rd -> Scotts Rd

good idea. Though I think maybe 151 can continue on AYE since it is so long ... even 151e takes 1 hr to reach Hougang Central.

89 Already goes to Changi Beach and it is good enough. I wonder how's the demand for 89 since it goes to Changi Cargo Complex.

The demand for 89 is HIGH. The DDs are always full from CACC during the evening peak. And 89 connects both ends of Pasir Ris very effectively too, passing by important areas like Downtown East and Pasir Ris West Plaza. Service 3 is an alternative for some parts of its route in Pasir Ris but it turns around too much, and therefore 89 is preferred for getting from Downtown East to Pasir Ris Dr 1/12.

Downtown east important meh? Like maybe weekend crowded.

that can wait. moreover with MRT lines running underneath, there shudnt be a problem.

but downtown east is and will be the in-thing.. 24 hour cathay cinema, bowling facilities, chalet, ferris wheel(tho not like sg flyer).

restaurants like hei sushi has even moved out frm white sands to downtown east.
