Only 2 SP Nissan UDs for WLDEP (CSS185P and CSS203X), not enough to cover for 3 service 852's slots. Unless service 980 transfer its CSS183U out

At most service 852 either gets those Lances from WLDEP or maybe other Scanias. Just wait for the next week's duty roster to come out...

let Kranji have a taste of Scanias, Woodlands have a taste of how good the Lances are, but still not as good as Scanias...Ang Mo Kio? taste of nothing. KJDEP refuses to transfer their Hino and DAF out!

I beg to differ. Their Scania L113CRL WA are almost hopeless. Slip gears, floorboard got holes, cockroachs, leaky aircon, aircon = no aircon, sometimes even some chao tar smell!

But their ELBOs are different. Somehow, their rattling problem has been solved for some. Aircon can be cold, and the noisy "radiator sound" has been removed. TIB839E is one example. Rattling is much lesser, aircon better and the noisy radiator noise is gone. Good thing is the bus is very powerful!

I hope some ELBOs will go back to 75. It would be great to see the best accelerating vehicles (not counting the merc) on 75, namely ELBOs and DAFs.

If SMRT wants to do this massive redeploments right, why can't they just NOT DO IT AT ALL IN THE FIRST PLACE? I won't want to see TIB442R in KJDEP. KJDEP doesn't maintain their buses well, you can see the leakage of some black stuff on nearly alot of their buses. I am not critisizing KJDEP, but im saying they do not maintain their buses so well and the drivers don't make the habit to keep clean their buses.

And it makes me wonder why it had to be 61, 75, 171, 173, 700, 852, 859, 970 and 985 buses affected in this retarded transfer..

Sigh, it seems something weird happens in 2008. Hopefully the next transfer will allow all these poor affected buses to go back to their original depot under the original drivers. Hopefully this stupid deployment only lasts 3 months.

And to add on, why bring over Lances to WLDEP? Why give scanias to KJDEP? I know it gives drivers exposure to different models, but are the technicians trained to maintain these buses?

yesterday i took 655 on 167. the interior is dusty and dirty but the engine quite nice leh. very fast acceleration, no vibration, aircon cool.

In my opinion, the first massive redeployment on 23rd of March should not happen anyway, correct me if date is inaccurate, SPH like to move buses here and there, ask sl to refamilarise routes and blah blah blah, so lame....i felt that buses were like models on SPH hand, like LEGO, fix here, not nice, then fix there...

Yeahh, TIB655T is dirty. But it's a good chiongster on BKE/PIE. Took it once on 966. But it doesn't have that scania sound i want. :( And TIB655T has that cheapskate 7-Eleven Bell like the new MRT announcements. Most scanias can chiong, but it depends on the pickup, how fast it is.

Not exactly all are redeployed back to their original services. TIB534J, TIB633G & TIB828L werent even from Service 61. TIB968R is made a SP instead of 970. TIB788T is made a SP instead of going back to 75. TIB845L wasnt a 75 :)

There goes the glory days of Scanias on Service 700... Both that Strider (636Z) and ELBO (845L) given to Service 75...

Hmmm I supposed the reason for the redeployment again is because of the advertisment contract and the CCTVs installed in these buses?
