U guys know will there be a chance for all the 859 drivers like 1171R and 1241Y will come back to drive 859 again? I prefer the previous drivers compared to the current ones now.... It is so messy now. Buses are never on time, furthermore, today the 859 7pm BC, the way he drove, the passengers almost fell down esp those who were standing. I wished everything will revert back like b4.

This is crazy... 2 SP Bendies to KJDEP OMG...

BTW I know some of you have heard of a few more service transfers (i.e. 2 BP Feeders to KJDEP & 2 Yishun Intratowns to WLDEP). As of today the transfer has not taken place, may be taking over next week. I happened to ask my BC friend on 812 today and he replied that there was no news of any transfer.

BUT, if the transfer takes place, there are 2 possible scenarios for AMDEP/WLDEP:

1) All buses inclusive drivers shift to WLDEP (811/812)
2) 811/812 gets handed over to WLDEP, 856 and 857 drivers will drive them. Existing 811 and 812 drivers will drive 856 and 857 (i.e. 856 and 857 will be handed to AMDEP).

Discussions are still on-going between the managements in AMDEP and WLDEP but I'll update next week again.

Yes there are two ex-859 SLs who are driving 106 now. Bachok the malay SL with the goatee and the Chinese plump sized SL. As for the latter, he drives 190 at times

Probably more transfers will be done after the new buses are being put into service, since from the look of it, SMRT's AMDEP has cleared up spaces for the new buses. I believe by then the depot should have buses to support more services, taking service 856 or 857 for example.

I believe Woodlands Depot should be very very very choked up by now...

And if those two are to be moved, I think they could also be potential candidates for the new buses.

According to the driver(s) I asked, they replied that if the transfer takes place, drivers stay while all respective perms head over to the new depot of control. So accordingly AMDEP should be looking for more parking space and more drivers instead of more buses to support them?

Correct me if I'm wrong. ^^

Checked with the thread for 23rd March redeployment.

12 Buses left AMDEP, while AMDEP took in 2. That's 10 out.
But in January, WLDEP sent 10 buses over as perms for 961. Overall = No buses cleared out.

For 22nd June redeployment:

2 Bendies left AMDEP, AMDEP took in 2. 4 Lances left for WLDEP, 4 Merc came in from KJDEP. Overall still no buses cleared out.

I highly doubt that they did clear any space at all...

Ahh... Bachok should be the SL who wears a cap at times... he drives TIB1238 if i never remember wrongly. I saw him once @ Bukit Batok Interchange.The latter do u mean 490B SL or 1171R SL?

The 1171R SL does not wear specs, i think he does morning shift when he drove 859. He is driving 190?
