The buses are operated by SMRT and SBS Transit. Many a times the
bus is late and always have to wait pretty long time. esp
services 965,969,167 e.t.c the service has not improved
over the years and yet the PTC has announced that prices is bound
to rise in October when the operators submit the application.
So this means the fare increases is has alreadfy been prepared
well in advance and this this news about awaiting for application
is just a showcase . As far as I know the PTC is a
sister company of LTA and the management comprises all the operates
SMRT,Delgro,SBSTransit e.t.c. only 2 grassroots leaders just
for show.
so this means the PTC is very much biased. and encoureage the
operators to multiply their profits at the expense of the public.
The PTC is not an independent body. my question is why must
the operators be in the PTC committee. it is a conflict of
interest. PTC should comprise of grassroots leaders and members
from public. no operator should be onboard and then the decision
made in respect of transport fare adjustments will be fair to
public.
