IMO, 130, 139 and 145 top priority...124 will definitely get without doubt...131 would be later... esp 139...old folks living in toa payoh, whampoa, selegie (little india), bukit merah, alexandra road, lengkok bahru area...going thru PS, river valley and little india...

this is for Bishan Route Group
56 passes thru TTSH, KK Hosp...54 passes thru Mt Alvernia, TTSH, GH... shunfu is a very small area...i would not call it a town though..like pandan gardens Wink both are equally eligible but SBSt favours 55 and 56 slightly more than 54...but 54 is the thirdmost favored service in the bishan route group...does river valley have weird slopes? this could be a reason..16 went learning the K230s...but later they didnt get..SBST's reason Stadium area...abit weird though..i dun think Merdeka Bridge's 3.3m is very low or the roads have weird slopes with bends...

Not sure about 166 but 197 does use New Bridge Road... it has a bus stop just outside NBR Terminal next to Outram Park MRT.

I'd say 56 more likely to get K230 BEFORE 54... although most likely BOTH will get them.

I think River Valley could have up and down slopes? But SBST does give wierd reasons for not giving K230s to a service. Laughing

aiyah now the problem is now the front bumper. They have to thoroughly check the road conditions before putting the K230 on service.

So if the route has any ongoing construction sites around.. then it is less likely that it will receive the K230s anytime soon.

btw a front bumper costs 3K.

SBST buses using New Bridge Road: 2, 12, 33, 54, 63, 124, 143, 147, Chinatown directs..all the ADD Services are WAB

around the area there is 51 and 80..isnt it alot..adding on upcoming 63 and the variety of WAB buses of 174 which plies near chinatown...awful lot of WAB services? but the fact remains that chinatown is made of mainly the elderly

Maybe 33 would also get them shortly. But I wonder if the slopes around Kent Ridge can be suited for the K230. Most likely yes since B10TL has done 10 and arrived at Kent Ridge in 1 piece. Is the bumper of the K230 lower than the B10TL?

Take HG route group for example. Those services that have the outgoing MKIIs have replacements like MKIII and MKIV.

true, sv325,112,113 is recently getting a ton of MK III's.. not many MK IV tho.
i wish they send DM3500's there...

33 really needs to modernise along with 32...N113CRBs should be out of town area..so it has potential to get the K230UBs...

63 alr startin to have its share of K230UBs...

124 has a big area of elderly and quite a demand esp during PM OffPeak and it would prob be the first St Mikes service with K230UBs...

54 may not get Confused mainly cos all the services in Chinatown have WAB buses

anyway, there are around 15 more new new K230 inside AMDEP as of sat 12 Jan.

SBS8098S was one of them. the rest cant see rego clearly.
so it is anyone guess which service they will be..

have the chassis for the balance 400 new K230 started to arrive in HGBA?

Wait and see loh. They will definitely be registered sometime later. Do remember that SBST registered 40 buses at one go so the next registration won't be so quick.
