If the routes and the standards that have been given are lucrative, we will definitely improve our own productivity and efficiency to ensure we have the best margins possible to bid effectively and win the routes we want." Uncouthly profit-driven? More cost cutting? If it were a service like 882 they won't want to bid right? I can't wish to see that SBST outbid SMRTB yet maintain low and reasonable fares for everyone through its better bus fleet management and understanding of the bus market. At least they are doing a better job at cost cutting yet making the ride comfortable. We don't have to look far to know why SMRTB has lost its soul the day it was not longer Tibs and not under charge of ex-Tibs management.

Airbus330Captain SG I really hope to see a new bus foreign bus company taking over smrt bus services. SMRT has already proven to us how incompetent and inept their attitudes towards buses. The word mediocre to describe their services is an understatement.

Stupid bus took me on a tour around Yishun when I took the wrong direction (I simply assumed it was a loop service and that even if I took it from the wrong direction...it wouldn't kill) and assumed wrongly 2 times that the bus will take me into the interchange. Wasted 40 minutes of my life.
