I would rather sv 852 to come under KJDEP or AMDEP. WLDEP would only dump lousy buses to sv 852

Svc 852's UD's should not be there for long... if I am not wrong they are due for scrap in 2009. They were bought in 1992 or 1993. It is already past the 15 year limit.

To be exact, now is 17 years lifespan. According to one motoring website it indicates lifespan expires around April 2010. SBST can afford to keep their buses up to 19 years. Hopefully no extention to be given to Nissan UDs after 17 years, maybe yes to Merc buses

Anyway SMRT has started to lay up some of its Nissan UDs (like CSS181A, CSS185P, CSS192T, CSS196H, TIB367A, TIB1249B). Some signs to show that these buses are going to be phased out soon . Just wait and see.

Too bad I can't go out to Yishun INT tomorrow... would love to see what the new 859 fleet is. Still hoping that all AMDEP 859 buses get to remain in AMDEP.
Looks rather "wish granted" now because 859 seems to be taking buses from WLDEP... o.O

Service 859's duties kanna bouced between AMDEP and WLDEP many times already, since day 1 it was newly introduced. Like cannot settle down in which depot to operate from .

Who knows, a few years later skali become partial AMDEP/WLDEP.

Yup, service 171 is now dual AMDEP/WLDEP controlled, that's why AMDEP Mercs are still with service 171 as well as WLDEP Scanias.

It should be TIB 981 B.

That was why TIBS had full bendies for 859. SMRT always make some clever decisions. This load has been happening since SMRT had rigids on 859.

Wonder if sv 980 fleet will improve at least with some Mercs?

Well I am at least glad that TIB622M remains AMDEP/171... that bus had been perm on 171 ever since day one and even survived thru the dark days of the robbery by the North East. Not too happy with the load of Scania's now on 171 though.

As for svc 852... we'll know the full extent of perms only tomorrow I guess. The generous numbers of Scania's on 852 today could be weekend deployment just like how 857 get its weekend bendies.

I have not been out spotting today... anyone saw any changes to my beloved 851 bendy fleet today?

Service 851 still about the same I think

For service 852's status, so far only 3-4 Nissan UDs spotted, instead of 9. Most probably more lienent with the Sunday's deployments, or maybe 1st day only . Got to wait for tomorrow (which is a normal weekday) and see how.

Service 106's AMDEP duties most probably steals bendies from service 859.

Service 190 is most probably a crossover from KJDEP to AMDEP, similar to service 961's case from WLDEP to AMDEP.
