Date: 1 May 2008(Labour Day)

Timing: 12pm(to have lunch together) or 1pm(not joining in for lunch)

Meeting Place: Kovan Hub(Stage Area)
Back-up Plan: Stage area next to Kovan Community Centre

Proposed Plan:
12-1pm: Have lunch together
1.15-1.35pm: Ice-Breaker
1.40-2.30pm: Mini Amazing Race
2.45pm onwards till late afternoon or evening: Bus ride

Better have a plan of what u are going to do.. Like what exactly of what u want to do. Do not say things like we will interact with each other through games ?? You would be telling other people that you have not done enough planning. Also, do plan the right activity where everyone is alright with. Learn from past mistakes.. And do remember ur objectives.

Its good to suggest and plan an outing when u know that there were previous cases of failed outings.

Maybe games with questions on buses. I also have a suggestion to have a quiz as part of the outing. The quiz paper can contain many multiple choice question and just one long answer question.

Since many people will not be available due to mid year, the organizers should really consider changing the date. Maybe one of the saturday afternoon during June School holidays?

My MYE is the day after the outing. I most likely could make it (60/40). But I do agree that this outing can be towed foward to after MYE. Anyway, i'm free after MYE but during MYE, i most likely not. A lot of the junior bus fans are 'laid-up' due to MYE as well. I'll check up with things later.

SP got TQ (T) shift, got AM (A) shift, got PM (P) shift, got S2 (E) shift also have... See what you 'kenna' only...

Putting in bus sense, my timetable would have E on Monday, T for Tuesday Thursday and Friday and Wednesday is only A shift...

Hello Everyone,

Intend to organise(with a few others) a gathering for all bus enthusiasts so that we can meet up and bond together through activities of games and interaction with each other. I think it will be good to solve those issues in the past like the relation between person A and B is not too good. But through this, I hope that relations will improve!

-Meet at Kovan Hub at 12pm for lunch(Hawker Centre or nearby coffee shop or Heartland Mall) until 1pm
-Those who are not joining us for lunch will meet at 1pm at Kovan Hub
-Interaction session(Ice breaker) from 1.15pm to 2.30pm
-2.30pm onwards(taking of buses) starting with Sv 107M and other services along the way until late afternoon or evening.

HUH? Cannot lah. Why not you push it to the next public holiday, Vesak Day? Most of the forum members here are having Mid Year Exams immediately after Labour Day, including me, till 8 May (or even later).

As for the Amazing Race, did you mean the one that closed applications after 31 March? I saw such a poster on the notice board at Bedok Interchange, inside the BC Lounge.
