ZF and Voith. Which do you think is better?

Heres a quiz for you guys. DH10A and D10A, what is the difference between these engines? Assume that both have same power output and torque. Seniors please let this qsn be answered by the juniors. Thanks.

Depend on engines too

ie:Voith is good on many MAN/VDL/Scania buses,ZF on MBs/Volvos/Irisbus while Allison on Alexander-Dennis

SBST's Volvo B10BLE CNGs feature the GH10B Euro 2 engine which was Volvo's second generation methane engine. The GH10B was the first methane engine released by Volvo to have two ratings - 245hp and 285hp. This meant that the gas engines could be installed in articulated buses with higher power requirements.

Well, if Allison is the best, why didn't SBST and SMRT choose Allison?

Allison transmissions are cheaper but still less durable than ZF and especially Voith...

Yes correct heard this from a SMRT chief technician.They are not as rugged as ZF or Voith
