As far as i observed,
(1) Buses that turn right from Jalan Boonlay = turn right to
ctrl 2,then ctrl 3 & st 64
- 157,172,174,198,199,242,405
(2) Buses that turn left from jalan boon lay & go straight
from boon lay way = go straight all the way to junction of st
64 & then turn right
- some JIS svc + 30, 79,154,240
(3) Buses that turns right from boon lay way & turn left to
ctrl 3
- 178,180,187
However, buses from (1) did choose to go straight till
junction of st 64, as what buses from (2) did.
As what i observed, it's due to (a) the traffic light at
the junction of boon lay way & ctrl 2. When more vehicles are
turning right, e.g svc 242 can choose to go straight w/o waiting to
turn right or (b) the BC might choose to go the fastest way to
int
That's my opinion...
Yes, you are correct, that is the route assigned to them. Some
BCs still decide on their own route. If Boon Lay Way is heavily
jammed, you might see some services, when exiting BNL, they will
turn right then ctrl3 then ctrl 2 to get back to Boon Lay Way (i.e.
following 178, 187 route).
