recently i went to paragon din tai fung with my frenz,
everything there was not nice... i heard its supposed to be a
competitor of crystal jade.. but the food is so much much
worse...
hmmm... when we ordered, items of food like la mian was served
within 5 minutes. it seems to me as if it was cooked and prepared
before hand.
xiao long bao supposed to be nice, but in the end turned out not so
nice as crystal jade.
we tried the fried rice, la mian etc... lamian tasted like maggi
mee.. nothing was matching of its 'high-class' status... which
literally means cmi
when we sat down at the table, we were still waiting for a couple
of our frenz... when our frenz arrived and we wanted to order, the
waitress actually told us we sat down for so long and was waiting
for us to order(not in a complaining tone but still sounded like
complaining to me). also say that last order blah blah blah because
it was near closing time i think.
we found e yam pao quite nice (the only thing that is nice there)
so we wanted to order another. the waitress told last order le, we
cannot order anymore. a couple behind us who just came in was
having his order taken. so we told her and she didn't look very
happy.
we were tucking in halfway and they said we have to pay the bill
now because they're closing.
i would give din tai fung at most 5/10. its far below my
expectations. i prefer crystal jade much more
any comments? people who ate there before?
