Yeah. Saw it open, faster go and strike a deal. BC is friendly enough to give me a few more seconds.

Wow! Thanks for mentioning me in the forum once again. I think I suddenly popular again because of you! Btw, I really dun like MK3 (Like wat I had stated earlier). I really dun mind DM 3500 to SLBP.

Repeat once,

West District Depot Lover. (That's includes BBDEP, HGDEP, SLBP)

Cos, no fire, no kiss between buses, no wheels dropping off..

^tamago^ SG

/me thinks of 2648U. hmmm.

service_238 SG

I thought about SBS 0691 G, SBS 1872 U, SBS 7253 S, SBS 9107 T as well.

Scania SG

I always thought that for SBST, the geographically eastern depots fair better than the geographically western depots in terms of maintenance. Maybe I’m still right.

chickenlittle2 SG

Personal view..

I cannot deny the North- East sides depot are doing a gd job for their maintainance but confirm not for the eastern side. The eastern sides seems to be happening a lot of things lately.

^tamago^ SG

7253 was spectacular. Laughing

chickenlittle2 SG

wat happened to SBS 9107T lately?

sbs&tibs SG

I have to agree that hgdep could maintain Volvo buses better than any depots. Comparing bndep & bbdep, bndep volvo buses are slightly better than bbdep. You can't compare slbp with amdep. amdep takes better maintenance of their buses, and even fork out money to refurbish the buses. I can say amdep buses are usually cleaner. Often, slbp buses can be spotted inside amdep for maintenance, serious.

What I want to say is that the western depots should improve on their maintenance. slbp as the latest SBST depot, I would expect better quality buses.

sbs&tibs SG

Kena accident then laid up.

ZYX2005 SG

what happened to this thread lately?

pls go back to topic

chickenlittle2 SG

oh really? when did it happened?

SBS8043A SG

u sure u dunno tis? it seem slbp like 2 lay their buses up... Laughing

ngjy22 SG

If no fire, SBS7253S won't be on news article and it won't be scrapped

And I think it's the worst bus on fire in 2007. Rolling Eyes

chickenlittle2 SG

SBS 7236S was the rare accident, not because of the maintainance problem..

chickenlittle2 SG

U think SLBP so free ah? U know the reason? Dunno then dun need to say anything.. Is ur another account under laid up now? Laughing

sbs&tibs SG

I doubt so. Usually it is the maintenance problem, otherwise the bus would not burn.

ngjy22 SG

Hmm...rare? Yes, it is rare...but is it a pure accident or wad?

The lastest record of any buses burnt until scrapped is still SLBP! Rolling Eyes

It's good that if anyone can provide some information

Till now, the dates (lastest one) for buses being burnt until scrapped.

SLBP: 27 Jan 2007 (SBS7253S)

AFAIK
BNDEP: SBS71X, dunno when but on svc 16
AMDEP: SBS563T, 29 Apr 2002 but no one can confirm, maybe due to accident or fire
Pure accident which make buses to burn till scrapped
AMDEP fire in 2000

off-topic liao.... Embarassed

Oceane SG

If SLBP wants to maintain it's buses, the first thing they should do is repaint them. Lots of SLBP Mercedes have black spots all over the front of the bus, very unsightly.

ngjy22 SG

SLBP can be very free Laughing

I don't think they're all very busy mantaining their buses

Oceane SG

Mmm... I just saw it on 143 last Saturday so fast laid-up? Rolling Eyes
