Eh...any good home-made herbal tea to recommend?

What types are very "cooling" vs being neutral enough to be consumed daily (eg chrysanthemum tea)?

I like the bottled xia gu chao herbal tea - can one buy the xia gu chao and boil ourselves? How does it look like? Dried or fresh?

I'm trying to replicate the taste of a particular brand of bottled herbal tea, but the scientific name of the 2nd herb (printed on the ingredient list) is unknown to me. I was told to add lou han guo, but it totally overwhelmed the taste. Neutral

Could be ang teck hioh - the leaves are purple on one side and dark-pinkish on the other....actually, their shape is more like snake grass like that. Can see them planted on the streets or in some gardens.
