SINGAPORE: If you had problems scanning your EZ—Link card early
Saturday morning, not to worry. The problem is not with the
card.
The Land Transport Authority said a software glitch had disabled
the automatic updating of the bus fare stages.
And drivers had to manually update the stages so that fares
could be deducted accordingly.
LTA said the software glitch had been resolved. Automatic
updating of bus fare stages will be fully operational once again by
day’s end.
Real—time bus arrival information, which was also affected, will
only be available when all the buses are switched back to the
