I don't think there's a need to protray a pro-SBST image and say that it takes over important SMRT routes.

Tat's wat happens to CMB

CityBus slowly ate up its profitable routes (British HK Govt took away all its profitable rts) and tat caused a short compeition to start but eventually CMB lost everything

and I'll say, SBS also has its fair share of problem on Svs like 154 (Long waiting time + overload)

Unstable somemore Laughing Last last friday at Jln TPY between 7.10pm and 7.14pm there were 4 Sv154s (1 DD fully packed till door, 2nd SD with many standees, 3rd bus no standee, 4th bus no standee) arriving.

The only thing SMRT stopped short of becoming another CMB is having strikes in the company.

NWFB did bring a lot of improvements after taking the remaining CMB routes. Phasing out all but one hotdog 4 years after it took over (the last one (DM6/ Open top Dennis Condor) was phased out on 24/1/2008, 15C now uses an open top AC (on the lower deck) Condor). Improving service standards, bought new Tridents for the takeover.

CMB is now a properties company.

It can be said that SMRT is like CMB, while TIBS is like NWFB.

Like i said for now we keep our damm mouth shut and concentrate on other buses like SBST,is it too much too ask for.C’mon SMRTB CMI why put more salt into wound?They’re recruiting more foreign drivers,expanding a depot and buying more buses in future.We shall wait and see what they can do okay?
