there got zouk. then ppl can walk over to the old food centre that bus stop to take nite owl.

sBs_boy SG

At least its better when u promise 20mins but actual fact is 45mins or even 1hr.

tanjun SG

However, I prefer Night Riders over than Night Owls. Though Night Riders are slower, their routes are far more comprehensive than the latter. It is like basic bus services in the night with of course extra charges. It is cheaper than taxis if one wants to travel late in the night at the stipulated timings.

carbikebus SG

Haha funny sia. Both bus operators got their disadvantages.SBST on the other hand got good freq/buses but still people complains,So what the heck?

opinions

NR vs niteowl

NRs deploy bendies on festive season to meet demand, niteowl does not

NR has sometimes high freq of 15 mins. niteowl does not

Nr speed, niteowl no speeding .

NR free transfer and loop back to town. niteowl no do that.

NR go HBF, nite owl no do that

Niteowl free for seasonpass if driver agrees to it.
i came across driver deny me free ride.

Niteowl go one big round in town b4 hit highway. NR go faster way but hit one big rounds after town.

ZYX

chickenlittle2 SG

NR costs $3, niteowl cost $2.50

Volvo Olympian SG

That's if you pay by EZlink , then is $2.50 for Niteowl , otherwise cash fare would be the same for both.

But whatever it is , I still prefer NR than Owl's ... but still depends on the situation.

service_238 SG

nightowl speeds hor.. I think the acceleration isnt strong enough to make you think it sped.

which driver of which owl denied you the ride? take next bus la..

Tampines residents better love 2N.. It has a SUPER comprehensive route in the entire estate!

phillipC SG

Speed wise NR3 is definitely than 3N... No doubt on this route. Laughing
Each service got its pro and cons.

tanjun SG

What about Cityshopper services? Are they excluded as well?

lemon1974 SG

Cityshopper services is consider premium service. so excluded.

muziq bus SG

but dont forget the free transfer...

if i want to alight from NR at night and go pee, haha, then can take next NR for free...

if i alight and maybe transfer from niteowl, then still must pay another 2.5 siol

SBS1985C SG

I second that. The best nite service route. Not so for day service. Laughing

Consists of a combination of routes 28,291,292,293

201911 SG

doesnt this mean that if u travel between Hougang and Punggol u have to pay as much as someone who travel all the way from the city to Punggol? Evil or Very Mad

^tamago^ SG

take it as a discount fare in the same town.

before this, even if they allow u to board at hougang or if u took nightrider, u're paying full fare. still cheaper than taxi.

Yaimster SG

Then again, it's still uni-directional. You can take 1N from AMK to Yishun but not the other way round Mr. Green
