xunmengzitu SG i think some Volvo MK2 are not scrapped but exported to overseas coz during my trip my batam yesterday, the tour bus i took is a ex-SBS Volvo MK2 WA CAC. the bus is painted into white with the tour company logo. the logo is in orange/blue colour. the interior remains unchanged except the bells, "bus stopping" and "door closing" indicators have been removed the tour company is VIP Tour forgot to mention that the bus now had microphones and speakers installed
SBS7484P SG yah, some of them are scrapped. the others that seem to be in better condition (eg engine/gearbox parts) that still perform well are sold and exported.. the rest that give off horrible vibrations on the e-way are well.. scrapped.
vivienlee SG NAC ones should be scrapped whereas CAC ones can be exported overseas Btw any pics of tat bus? Would like to see it....
vivienlee SG Next batch of MKIIs gg (1821-1840) soon Wonder which bus will sv 115 get after 1835 is gone
vivienlee SG Still got SBS1862Z (sv 103), SBS1864T (sv 11) Either get those bus or become FAC svc again Then sv 82, 103, 158 confirm can become FAC svc liao Sv 151 gotta wait for BBDEP to clear off all its NAC Volvos too. Maybe sv 91 get another left over Volvo NAC buses, or maybe perm VO2x
sbst275 SG 1862 and 1864 are DM NAC la I suspect 1880X (More probably) or 1893J (Could be redeployed to Sv 191 :lol might be pulled over to replace 1837Y on 284 If tat's the case, it's left 3 NAC buses on 151... Next de-reg, 1845 and 1858 would go... But I suspect 91 and 191 would be last user of NAC MK2
TIB1018B SG For me, I think that regardless of which NAC buses it is still classified under NAC. SBST doesn't really bother which type of bus model they will put in, so long as the bus is a NAC bus Is only the new Scania buses that SBST deploy on "selected" bus routes only
