Wrong! TIB977P is no longer 857 weekend perm, it is a Suspected permanent perm on 857. Saw it being parked at Sembawang Int during off-peak for the whole of this week, so meaning that it got redeployed to either 856 or 857.

actually i recorded the sound of it, but lost when transferring to my comp! almost the same sound as TIB1011U, windscreen is lyk shit. from far looks more lyk TIB842U...can tell it had a serious accident that the EDS had been changed, windscreen and door had been changed; windscreen to ELBO style, door into UK

First of all, I would like to correct the way to convey your thoughts in a more correct manner. "Permanent perm" = "Permanent Permanent". So you should get what I'm hitting at.

Secondly, SMRT loves to have "weekly perms" for some services, just like the rigids previously whereby it cameos on 962 for a week before getting substituted by another rigid. So based on track history, one week on a particular service doesn't mean anything.

However, if you still see the bus parking there during off peak (and very sure it's not on 980) for another week or two that could be another story.

So please keep us updated.

I think someone previously has posted that 821E is Sunday/PH perm on 853.

Also, 821E seems more like a SP now. Hardly see it on 859.

Impossible. More likely to be Employee Bus. Services 39 and 85 are wholly BNDEP and HGDEP controlled respectively.

Much lesser probability but it can also be for 161 or 168.

Unless.. one of the services has a depot transfer today. Laughing
