most uses those print on the spot tickets now.. also, i havent seen any TMO buses on JB yet.. (but i saw many on KL's Transit Link)

777 goes to Ayer Hitam, Machap, Spg Renggam, Kulai, all the west side places. 777 only ply between Ayer Hitam and Larkin.

39, 133, 133A, 200, 208 all goes to Masai. Only 39, 200 and 208 start their journey from Larkin, to JB city centre, then head towards Masai. 133 and 133A will start their journey from Masai, making a loop at JB centre city, and head back to Masai. I remember that there is also Causeway Link sv from Larkin to Masai, but does not loop at JB city centre, its either 55 or 66.

If you are referring to Jaya Jusco Permas Jaya, this shopping centre is in Permas Jaya, not Masai. Masai is a small town beside Pasir Gudang there. Permas Jaya is housing estate, about 10 km away from Masai town, but still under Masai region. So you cannot take Masai buses to Permas Jaya.

For going to Permas Jaya, can take Maju sv 10, Causeway Link sv 22 and Transit Link sv 123. You can take these buses from JB, at the bus stop adjacent to City Sq, opposite Caltex Petrol Station. Alternatively can take from Post Office also.

From JB city centre, Permas Jaya will ply thru the Tax Free Complex ( Kompleks Bebas Cukai ), followed by Jalan Pasir Pelangi, Bakar Batu and you will cross a high bridge, where you can see Senoko Power Station in Singapore, when landing at the other side of the bridge, you will enter Permas Jaya, the bus will continue straight, until you see MacDonalds' at the left side, at the traffic light junction of MacDonalds', you should be able to see Jaya Jusco. The road name is Jalan Permas Jaya Utara.

To Kulai you may like to take S&S buses from JB city centre, the S&S buses
don't indicate numbers. Price RM3.00, travelling time 45 minutes.

In Kulai, there is only two so call shopping centre, one at Taman Kota Putri, I forgot about the name. The second shopping centre is somewhere near Bandar Indahpura, known as Kulai IOI Mall, has a Giant supermarket. Both shopping centres are quite inconvienent if you go there by bus.

At Kulai town centre, there are a few supermarkets, multi storey ones. One of them is called Gedung Harian.

From JB ciy centre, besides S&S buses, you can also take 13 or 16. From Larkin, you may like to take 777 or 2.

Transit Link 180 or 138.

RM1.00, have to wait 30-45 minutes for one bus, coz only one or two bus running the entire route. Laughing

From tomorrow onwards, bus fare in MY will increase, I am not sure about the new fare.

From City Square, you can reach there in less than 15 minutes by bus.

Whenever i take any return buses eg, 138, 180, 133, 205, 123, 10A, 101 from holiday plaza / terbrau highway / permas jaya or other areas towards city square area, it seems that most of these buses uses the longer Jln Ayer Molek route which bypasses the high court, a primary school and the MBJB post office and eventually drops passenger at the Komtar bus stop besides city square. For us who are returning to singapore, we have to cross the city square overhead bridge to the opposite side in order to get to the custom.

The only svc i've ever took which go straight along Jln Tun Abd Razak was 188. This svc drops passengers conveniently outside the bus stop opposite city square, located just a few hundred metres from the custom.

Besides svc 188, is there any bus services that stop at the bus stop opposite city square??

There is no standard route for drivers to enter the city using Jalan Tun Abdul Razak ( a.k.a Jln TAR ) or Jalan Ayer Molek, this is not Singapore.

Sometimes the bus drivers used Jalan Ayer Molek to avoid the massive jam at checkpoint, others will just squeezed thru the jam.

I used to have seen 180 enter the city using Jalan TAR. This apply to all other buses, some even make detour to hospital or zoo, before turning into city.

route 180 has been amended before, i remembered couple of years ago when i took 180 to holiday plaza, it doesn’t use Terbrau highway and doesn’t bypass New York City Hotel as of now. It used TAR, bypassing Plaza Best World and then turned right into Jln Kebun Teh Lama. Nevertheless, the return route to Bandaraya currently uses this route

Now 51, 211 and 212 are withdrawn. So 180 have to ply Jln. Dato' Abdullah Tahir ( the road in front of New York Hotel ).

Fare increase is standard one. But I have no info on the exact increment.

There are no bus guides in JB. Only trition buses are displaying their bus route information in the LCD TV inside their buses.

You are right, 348 and 322 dropped passengers there. Bus that served the western areas of JB, ie. Skudai, Tampoi, Kulai, Senai, will make a loop in Kotaraya.

15, 16, 226, 226A, 301, 321, 322, 323, 328, 329, 331, 348, S&S ( Kulai JB ), CW1, TP1, TP2, 501, 502, 503.

omg, go permas jaya now cost RM2.50! it used to cost only RM1.90. but wierd leh, go kota tinggi only increase 10 sen to RM3.60. go tuta still same RM1.90. they didnt increase all the routes. but they didnt publish the RM1 routes. say for example, from bandar to duty free or bandar to holiday plaza. how much do u think it’s going to cost?

is it true that in some suburb areas in jb, there are no designated bus stops and you can board and alight any buses wherever you like. i've seen buses just stop at any location to alight the passenger after the passenger presses the door bell..or is there really designated bus stops but there are no bus stands

Permas Jaya used to cost only RM2 on Svc 123, but who cares when this fare is still relatively cheap compared to Singapore buses
