snobbish SG Last time Channel U got intro a nice looking crowded jap restaurant serving salnon set tempura set at about $5 only Been lookin 4 that place but duno the name. Start with 'O' one. Heard from the show the food is good
snobbish SG Oh. And there is a food court in Macherson selling large, delicious jap sets. With main, dessert, salad, soup only $3.50! Can P.M u the place
MooKu SG Is it the one at Joo Chiat Road, opposite Hotel 81? I think it's okay only... They used to have a stall in Old Airport Road Food Centre. But erm if we were to compare them with other non-authentic foodcourt/hawker centre Japanese food then I'll say they're the better of the lot.
snobbish SG For the best 'Don' items, very good ones can be found at the jap restaurant in novena square. Ten don, tempura don, oyako don...I think the name is ICHIBAN
_agness SG Waruku, and ichiban are the same company. Sakae is their own. Ichiban serves the best. =) Terriyaki Chicken Don. =) Best.
monoslayer SG i have tried both waruku n ichiban.. n i will say waruku is more expensive, BUT other den the price, waruku win ichiban hands down.. had a bad experience at ichiban n i dun tink i will ever go back there again.. n the food sucks..
