carbikebus SG Hi folks,I've used to heard that 2 axles DD like the Trident/B7RLE DD/Scania Omnidekka doesnt have any AC unit but only had air blowers right?Since 2 axles semi decker coaches had AC due to their great horsepower why cant the DDs?If Alex Dennis chose to upgrade their Horsepower on the 2 axles from 260 to 290 is it possible to have AC units?Pls clarify
ZYX2005 SG yes carbikebus. now air-con units can be made compact n fit into a smaller space so are smaller. wonders of technology. but these things still heavy. u r right to say higher horsepower of bus is needed. ZYX
Scania N113CRB luver SG Maybe special request for the B9TL loh . Instead of 260bhp , make it 310bhp. Alot for 2axle DD . There's even a B12BLE DD if im not wrong . Im not too sure , but if there is , the bus has 340Bhp.
kenn3th SG possible but you still need to check out the cost installing, modifying the technology,the age of the buses and the revenue of the routes.

sBs_boy SG In the 1st place, why would they want to go through so much trouble to install an AC unit on a 2axles DD Bus ? When they could simply just get a 12m SD bus. Doesnt it makes more sense when their seating capacity are almost the same.
