i am by opinion anti SLR
but anyhow pls mind my views
my choice would be those small one but can half perfrom as
SLR
no doubt ur F stop can't go as high as F16.0 on the compact camera
but they serve well for me.
SLRs are bulky. u take them out need to press buttons n then shoot.
press halfway, the target zao leow. ouch
SLRs are big. u hold them shoot. got ppl kuah u. shy lah.
compact camera can still achieve certain SLR functions. u can
multiple shot (ok lah slower cycle lah) , u can do timed exposure
with tripod still, u can shoot moving buses gg at mad speeds, u can
shoot free hand night shots.
ISo , exp, F stop (my stupid cam can't set this urgh) , shutter
speed are the 4 settings u can get on the normal compact mannaul
settings camera. juz like SLR.
note with SLR it is near impossible to do a free hand night shot.
the camera so big u really have to steady ur self. however armed
with a decent tripod u can and will take MUCH better night shots
than compact users.
for a person with small hands, i prefer small camera. so compact
goes well.
point and shoot camera i dun mind also. u just "on" then shoot . No
need press press press and set ISO ,shutter and exp. thats why
sometimes i lazy i just turn the dial to auto aand proceed with
shooting. no doubt getting bad quality shots at times. haha
the one thing about point n shoot camera is that they can take much
better LED desto shots than compact manual mode cameras. i dunno
why but they just do. sometimes i get my dads point n shoot one to
shoot only EDS pics cause hey turn out full desto.
