Looks like it's at Harbourfront and
SBS9802U could be cameoing on 1 possible Service: 143. Other AMDEP/BRBP Buses like 131, 57 and 124 could not support DDs as there's no demand on it and there are no DDs plying the route.

SBS9815H on 72 today by the way.

80 goes to Serangoon lah. Upp Serangoon. Stomper probably meant some bus stop near Serangoon Central.

Looks like Harbourfront to me also.

Could really be 80 leh, because 80 does go to Serangoon -> Chinatown -> Harbourfront.

I intepreted the Stomper's description as:

"I boarded svc 80 at Serangoon Central at 5.15pm. The bus was heading towards Chinatown."

And since the Stomper also said: No one dared to sit near them or approach them.:
Then why are you all so suprised that the bus "looks empty"...?

3. SBS 9802 U is a brbp bus
4. SBS 9802 U is on cameo when incident happened
5. Its NOT a hgdep bus

Lol. 80 doesn't even go Serangoon Central. Only 22 and 70 with VSO deployed goes to Serangoon Central. And one more thing, it cannot be at Serangoon. The reason is that, the bridge starts from just before the junction between Upper Serangoon Rd and Upper Paya Lebar Rd/Boundry Rd. 80 turns left to Upper Paya Lebar Rd and thus cannot be under the bridge at that point in time.

My guess is this bus service is mistaken as 70 Mr. Green

Oh ya SBS 9802 U was parked in amdep opposite the pump kiosk on Friday night. I think it didnt go back to brbp that night hence it cameos the next day

Hmm, I didn't say it goes to Serangoon Central. I said it goes to Upper Serangoon. But the Stomper said Serangoon Central for i dunno what reason, maybe he started his trip at Serangoon Central (on another bus, then transfer to 80).

And I already said it was probably at Vivo/Harbourfront, Vivo/Harbourfront got flyover above mah. And since 80 does go to Vivo, right? And before it reaches Vivo, its at Chinatown (which was what the Stomper described mah...).

Anyway, one final thing, how can the Stomper not know what bus he was taking?

actually looking at the surrounding, it might be at the upper serangoon/braddel road/bartley road junction? it look quite similar..

but then did you all realise one thing?
SBS9802U got the amazing thailand ad right? so the top front windscreen should be cover by the ad right? So far those ADD that i see have the top front windscreen cover with the amazing thailand ad.

But this 9802U does not seem to have any ad infront? So the pic is not taken yesterday? The stomper maybe just anyhow post?

For my earlier post, what I mean is Serangoon Central has MRT station labelled Serangoon and in my opinion, it is a rather prominent landmark. Besides, the bus stop just outside Serangoon Central also has a flyover.

Plus, Serangoon is going to be an interchange for the years to come. So, it will be a more prominent landmark.

Anyway, looking from your explanation, he boarded the bus 80 from somewhere in Upper Serangoon at 4 plus, reach keppel or vivo/harbourfront at 1715 and witnessed the act. So, there is a significant time lapse here.

However, after reading from the description, my intrepretation is as soon as he boarded the bus at Serangoon Central, he witnessed the act.

Well, I don't know and won't know how long it takes for 80 to go from Serangoon to Vivo/Harbourfront.

But it just shows that there's lots of ways to intepret what the Stomper said Laughing ...

last time when it have the Workforce developmetn agency ad, there is SBS Transit Logo on the top front windscreen. now it is gone as seen from the stopmer photo?

Confirm not serangoon.

Its either location or bus number wrong. confirm one of it is wrong.

Bus is on Sv. 70 as the viaduct is ending, there is a “Change in Traffic Light timing” sign on top of the traffic light and viaduct of this design is only at S’goon.

IT almost past the flyover at Serangoon (Near Serangoon Bus Int.) So, it could be on 70.
