Haha i see . If you listen closely to the first video , the engine somehow resembles Cummins unique engine note . Dennis vehicles majority uses Cummins engin...

1. Take a Good Video: Make sure it focuses on the subject.
2. Edit it well: Make sure it is short but presentable. Add Background and titiles and credits to the video. Make sure your background music never outshine the sound made by the subject.
3. Make it public: Publish it on youtube. Wink

An example of a good vid:

IMHO

u should not put music in ur video when taking transport vids. drowns out th sound of the bus or train.

Points to be added:

- Do not add music to your videos so that it doesn't mask the sound of the locomotive
- Try to learn how to hold your cam steadily. Wink

So at the end of the day, the standard is still not set properly.
Man, don't ever say you set the standard. I think just be patient and learn until you get older, this will all seem to be a joke to you.
Not scolding anyone here.

Think that's a good video? I don't even think so. Even STN can take better videos of KTMB trains than you. Next time, the best thing is not to add music into your video. And this should not be posted here; it's better off posting it in the Trains forum or at KTM Railway Fan Gallery.

FYI, the locomotive you shot was a YDM4. I heard this from someone that trains pulled by YDM4s tend to arrive later than scheduled.

nenepokey SG

aniwae, are the fire engines in Sg from Dennis?

Volvo Olympian SG

I think got Volvo and Scania's also

QX5216J SG

majority were Dennis Sabre HD (only recently Scania P360s were replacing some of the older fleet),
specialised vehicles were Volvos & Hinos
Ladders appliances were Scanias,

want to know more abt SCDF Vehicle, PM Me and i'll tell you more.
can check the posting on SCDF Forum as well.

wait.. TS was standing while recording and it shook so much?
i'm walking (and jogging) and thus the vids were shaky..

its the method you use to hold the camera which you need to look out for.

YDM 4 Loco no. 6699 was delayed and arrived 1 hour late today hauling XSP 5.

The pot calling the kettle black. The crab teaching its young to walk straight. What's the point of preaching if you don't practice? Instead of setting a standard for taking transport videos, its better that you set a standard for your academic grades which will definitely fall if you keep taking/making a 'good video'.

muziq bus SG

everyone can make a better video than that one... sheesh

Come on! Learn from mistakes. I commited one here and maybe one day. You may commit a mistake too. I learn. I try to suit myself.
