Old buses on service 975
Recently, more and more old buses have been appearing on service
975. These buses are in a very bad condition, with old seats that
have holes in them, and a terrible dirtiness.
The window frames are rusty and there are holes in the floorboard,
exposing the open road. The bus is noisy and travels bumpily. There
are problems with the bus door and the quality of the aircon
differs from time to time; taking such buses is slow and
uncomfortable.
Bus fares keep rising these few years, but service does not seem to
have improved at all. The aircon does not work and delays are
frequent. Hopefully the bus company can improve, doing passengers a
justice.
Apart from threatening safety on the road, such old buses do not
fit into Singapore's city scenery.
C'mon, these people are exaggerating. First off, as a regular
commuter on 975, i have not encountered any Nissan 975 with "Open
Floorboards" WHICH are dangerous to commuters. And also, the Nissan
Buses are actually cleaner as compared to many of the MB0405
buses...although they undoubtedly look old
