201911 SG Ah! SBST has said the same thing on its website. Look here: http://www.sbstransit.com.sg/press/2007-09-11-02-S.aspx read the last paragraph. i should guess the 300 new buses they claimto have already purchased are 200 B9TLs and 100 K230UBs. as for these 400 new buses, we just have to play the waiting and speculating game again, just like we did for B10TL,B9TL and K230UB.
azharjj SG According to the straitstimes video, the new 400 buses, which costs $145m, will roll out by 2008…
service_238 SG About 200 buses will go off next year. And if they are not extending their merc, its also another 200.
CannyOng SG Great excuse to rip us more... I going to switch to motorbike soon and break from the mercy of expensive public transport!
sbst275 SG It's fleet replacement... Cos 1100 buses have reached their lifespan unless you want to board on a 30 year old public bus
tintinspartan SG I believe not yet. The Scanias will start deregistering from 2nd Half next year till early next year. Take note that some MERCs may not be extended for 2 years.
