Bus services partner

Hi guys, there are so many bus services in Singapore. Which are the two services in ur mind that they are the service partner. Choose your favourite bus partner

Service partner can be based on examples like,

1)Both services share the buses between themselves (Crossover...)
2)Both services starts had ususal crossover between themselves (Weekends cameo...)

For me, the best partner would be..

1)Svc 179 & Svc 242, cos every single day there would be buses that crossover from svc 179 to svc 242. From mon-fri in the AM peak, there would 1 bus frm svc 242 to svc 179

2)Svc 199 & Svc 243, in the past there are already single decker buses crossing over from Svc 243 to Svc 199 or vice-versa in the peak hours. Now they share the Double-decker buses during the peak hours .

15 36 and 518.

They park at the same place in bndep and its despatched according to the time they start their first trip. that's why you can see other buses on each other's service. Initially I thought xover or something then i realised its not when i checked the timesheet.

15/36 PM Xover once existed though.. but ceased operations after a while.

Of course the sole exception is that 2888T.

Yes, very funny, even for 179 case, buses will be dispatched in the wrong order. Especially if the buses leaving are consecutive ones.
i.e. 9031C & 9015A frequently swap places with each other. They are the first and second 179 buses to leave SLBP.
I wonder why they always do this. Confused

Last time I overheard BC conversation with another BC, he say he took the wrong bus. He was supposed to take 9056, but took 9065 instead. But I don't think this is the reason for most of the cases... Laughing

Sad ah... Miss those times where my favourite Nokia bus does Service 55 every weekday morning..... Sad
