Staying in Holland V and has to rely on SMRT106 to Orchard and
SUNTEC.
It seems recently the waiting time for SMRT106 is getting bad (I
now got to wait for up to 15min for it to arrive). And to make it
worst, now there are fewer bendies plying on SMRT106.
This afternoon I have waited for 15 minutes for SMRT106 at Capitol.
A single cabin SMRT106 arrived. By the time the bus arrived at SMU,
no more seats available. When at Dhoby Ghaut, many passengers
started to crowd at the entrance. When at Youth Park, it was
sardine packed. When at Orchard, it was still sardine packed. When
at Wheellock, bus captain skipped. Bus captain again skipped the
bus stops at British Council, Botanic Garden and Holland
flyover.
Is it to be the norms?
Prior handing over the SERVICE 106 to SMRT, SBSTRANSIT definitely
has better frequencies, and SBSTRANSIT provides double deckers to
SERVICE 106.
I sincerely urge SBSTRANSIT to take back the service.
