im currently a student in sim, may i ask if there is anybody that comes from np and is currently taking the shuttle service from hougang interchange to np?

do they actually check in the student pass?and are sim students allowed to take a ride on it too??

pls help mans....the journey for bus 74 is really killing me....

Np shuttle bus is strictly for NP students. Imagine the whole lot of SIM students board that bus. It will be unfair for the NP students

Why don’t SBS introduced some special service for students called Studentz Exprez. Maybe 74 could be a start. 74S or S1

if you really dread the crowds, can board 74 from the interchnage or within Hougang, or take the MRT to Dover MRT.

the shuttle is for NP students only. every morning got a lecturer will stand there to count students and see passes, so cannot hitch easily Wink

In the first place, the $52 per month is a losing business to them.. Going Express means having fewer stops. When that happens, it only goes to show that the demand wont be enough to cover the expenses occured due to the running of this "Student Express". Have you ever wonder why they charge so much for Express Services ?

now nus got term, 151 also crowded + usually no air con.

theres only 4 trips of that shuttle. the last bus leaves at 8.00am and arrives at 8.40am (in time for 9am classes).

the lecturer after counting the students for the 8am trip, will hop on the bus to NP as well, so not really wasting time.

theres many students taking these 4 trips, until some people even got to stand, thats why NP is quite strict on whos boarding this bus

As for concession pass... It's not losing money biz... In fact it's kinda good to them, got take or not they alrdy earn $52... That also gives no reason for Clementi Rd svs to use so many NAC buses...

Cos if that's the case, Sv 8, 15 & 69 at TP side does not deserve FAC status... Should be like 151, 70% NAC status Mr. Green
