Scania N113CRB luver SG AFAIK , some SMRT's Merc have working fuel gauges. As for those buses without working fuel gauges , the BC still can guess , by judging the journey time spent. But i won't be surprised if the bus runs out of fuel halfway thru.
mancha SG I have seen a tanker at Bedok Interchange past 00.30 hrs once. Well if they don't use tankers to refuel buses at interchanges, I guess that one was refuelling one that cannot make it to the depot. Thanks.
amusing_dick SG ya this type of new double decker i like it very much.looks like the height of the 2nd deck on these new buses increased to 1.9m or smth so that those 1.8+ no longer have to crouch anymore.. the smell/air also fresher no longer contains anymore fuel/"traditional bus smell" svc 76 alot of these buses.esp in the nite sometimes i can even occupy the entire 2nd deck .waa my journey back home very comfortable.. then to add one more thing on the 1st storey at the back they change the seats to face to face 1 ar.. long legs ppl very hard to accommodate. then sometimes got pretty girls hor.. i look her she look me very then pretend open handphone replymsg etc etc
stooper SG This reminds me, last week (or 2 weeks ago), got a Nissan stuck at BNL. One of the SMRT trucks were there. They were pouring many containers of something into the bus. I think it's diesel, maybe the bus run out of fuel halfway.
^tamago^ SG The bus you are referring to are Volvo B9TL's. The bus in the picture is a Dennis Trident. It comes with orange EDS and are more often seen on Hougang/Sengkang routes like 62, 80 and 89.
TWS4793 SG The DT on tow is on Service 89. Is it SBS 9688H or any other DT? The bus behind it confirm is a Scania on Service 29. Don't tell me it's SBS 0051D .
amusing_dick SG orrhh ya i see wrongly the back seats don't face each other.. ya im refering to the Volvo ones..
