Actually. SBST shouldn’t have ommitted the loop at Victoria School, after bus stop 93201, Service 16 could still turn out to Siglap Road to continue it’s journey. More convenient for Victoria School students (one of our bus fan is from this school I guess).

MingFreeman SG

It terminates at bedok interchange or just loops around the interchange?

tintinspartan SG

MAybe 16 is getting some Scanias since it goes to Bedok and Bedok North Depot is nearer to Bedok. So, I think that some MK-IV SPs or Scania SPs may find themselves on Service 16.

Volvo Olympian SG

Terminate at Bedok Interchange

kengkia SG

last time with marine parade era svc 16 used to be BNDEP one...now just repeat history only....i have read from sgwiki that SBS71X kanna fire and 'died' prematurely....... Crying or Very sad that bus was then serving svc 16 and it was a OAC scania bus...what a pity...

SBS9889U SG

If dont omit then it would not be like the withdrawn 608 already , that bus fan takes 55 to schoo la Laughing

Acx1688 SG

As i gather, sv16 was extended to Bedok Interchange:

1. to cover part of CSS608 route
2. too much bus bunching on the return to Bukit Merah Int
3. Release partial fleet for BBDEP/ARBP for departed MKIIs, as mentioned earlier by Kengkia, the scanias will come in bear in mind that BNDEP has lots of Scanias as SP role...

service_238 SG

release the arbp mk3 for the outgoing mk2 due to S95 S96 mainly. Weekday schedule for both services started this week and bbdep is using JB Mk3s as temp perm buses until next week.

hgdep cannot give buses to bbdep as they themselves got their own mk2 to worry about. Means its unlikely merc will be in bbdep anytime soon...

I hope the Scania NACs will stablise once S16 is extended..

Also, AMDEP have a lot of SP Merc already... could easily give out. Obvious choice would have been Volvos to BNDEP. So even without those MK4-DMs, 70, 124 & 186 would not be affected much. Wonder how many buses could be from BNDEP though...

So is there anyone going to joyride on the amended Service 16 this Sunday?

I may be one of the first to go catch a glimpse of the amended Service 16 in Bedok Interchange (morning, if possible, around 5 a.m.), but I cannot ride the full route to Bukit Merah. I'd rather wait until around Mid-October to December then, because I cannot be going joyriding anytime I like.

SBS 891X,SBS 902Z,SBS 913S, SBS 919B,SBS 922R, SBS 930S, SBS 937Z, SBS 965S, SBS 967L, SBS 970B, SBS 976K, SBS 977H, SBS 983P, my fav SBS 988B are from BNDEP to AMDEP. SBS 990T is from BNDEP to BRBP. SBS 900D, SBS 901B,SBS 914P and SBS 975M were from BNDEP to AMDEP then back to BNDEP again. SBS 910A, SBS 911Y, SBS 912U, SBS 940M and SBS 987D not too sure, but should be AMDEP from the start and wasn't moved at all.

566117 SG

SBS900D was BN 16, then BN 65, BR 131, AM 55, AM 70 and now BN SP
SBS901B was BN 16, then BN 14, AM SP, AM 124, and now BN SP
SBS914P was BN 66, then BR 131, AM 186, and now BN SP
SBS975M was BN 9, then AM SP, then BN SP

Note that for 901B and 975M there may be more svcs... not too sure, 900D is pretty much like that. What I know is all 4 were from BN at first.

I just roughly put the timing in, not for real.

You want maybe around 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. also can.
