Hope so lah... now the fleet all MK3 except 2671 & 2823

sv966 SG

Yes it does.. it plies the stretch of Upp East Coast Rd between Siglap Rd & Bedok South Ave 1, and covers for the route of withdrawn Service 608, instead of duplicating with Services 196, 197 and 31 along Marine Parade Rd.

tanjun SG

Yup. Agreed with you. Let me rephrase my statement. Bedok and Boon Lay ints accommodate the highest number of bus services.

I believe zero bndep buses control service 16.

SBS1985C SG

yeap. seen none today.

stooper SG

LOL! I think they just copy and paste! Some of SBST's timesheets also have minor errors, quite obvious is copy and paste. Laughing

choww SG

So are there additional buses for service 16? They will have difficulties as all their SP MKIIIs are JB registered.

Bedok : 7, 9, 14, 16, 17, 18, 25, 26, 30, 30e, 32, 33, 35, 38, 40, 60, 66, 69, 87, 168, 196, 197, 222, 225W/G, 228, 229, 401, 854

2 JB SP MKIIIs r deployed on sv16 after the extension

TWS4793 SG

My take is that SBS 1750M is no longer 96 BBDEP (according to SgWiki) but 16 ARBP. Anyone agrees with me?

tanjun SG

lol. Bedok has 28 while Boon Lay has 29. I didn't consider fastforward services and 401 and 405.

Anyway, if u look closely at the buses stopping at Bedok bus interchange, most of them are trunk services while for Boon Lay, a bigger proportion of them is Jurong Industrial Services. However, for Bedok int, there are already no spaces for buses to park properly as in in parking lots. There are insufficient parking lots to house the number of buses. Yet, the int situated in the middle of Bedok new town makes it very bustling. Laughing

stooper SG

But some JIS like 252, 255, 257 have high frequency. Other BNL services like 179 and 242 also high frequency during peaks. So in the end, BNL is very busy too! Laughing

tanjun SG

I strongly agree with you on the above statement. BNL and Bedok int are both busy in their own ways.

Regarding about PM Lee rally speech about building a fourth university, I hope it can be built either in the North or Eastern areas.

S16 is confirmed full arbp. Checked the index number of the timesheet today. So expect JB mk3 cameos (same as S95 S96) until maybe the new scanias come in.
