Introducing a third bus operator I think will not help much in
Singapore because of rules regarding about "territories of
different bus companies" set by PTC. Besides, the focus of
Singapore now is on the MRT lines in the future since roads are
anticipated to be more congested as vehicle population continue to
surge causing delays of bus trips.
Therefore, I think that the buses in the future will be like feeder
services, plying from our houses to the nearest MRT station and
commuters will take MRT to their destinations.
