Class 55 Deltic Fan SG To start off. Took a SP Mercedes Rigid (TIB495C) replacing TIB1226S on 962A/963 timeslot and saw a very young 21 year old BC driving. It was really great to see a youth driving a bus, I stood in front and see him drive. He knows how to drive the jerky MB and I think it was rare for a youth his age to be a BC. Have you ever witnessed any unusual BCs or very young ones?
tanjun SG 169 also has a BC which looks very young. Normally, he will drive TIBS 1047 S in the afternoon around 5 plus passing by Dieppe Barracks.
TWS4793 SG 1. I just recently met a young BC (specifically on 3 August 2007) who is a BRBP bus driver. He once drove SBS 0499X on Service 26 as cameo (my favourite Merc OAC ), and I was on that bus. I noted about the fact that he was young when I requested that I take the photo of the interior of the bus (which was then parked at Bedok Interchange at that time). He rejected my request and also kindly explained that I could seek permission from the office to get a photo of the inside of the bus. All descriptions fit and he is most likely a young BC. 2. It was during the Chinese New Year (last year) when I met a BC who is quite unusual. Was on SBS 3659G on Townlink 293 when I met him and most of the time when he was resting, he would normally do hand stretches and even makes barking noises to simulate a dog (because last year was the year of the dog). But that's not all. He would say auspicious words relating to Chinese New Year. That's nice!
Cool-gal SG today, i took bus no.32 heading towards katong mall, the BC was fidgeting thru out, i wonder if he was just stretching or something wrong with him.
TWS4793 SG Did you really see what he was doing clearly? Is he carrying a phone in his hand while driving or a newspaper to read when the bus stops at junctions?
nenepokey SG former TIB 571B driver(an indian fat uncle, usually driving 6.11-6.15am slot for thurs) opens door even before entering the bus bay, even wif passengers near the entrance. both entrance and exit open together
wonderamazement SG Was he a bit plump? Cos got one on service 293, he'll greet all passengers with rhyming phrases... Really polite.
SBS1985C SG Yes. He is very polite. Unfortunately, he had some complains of him talking (or greeting ) the pax too much. He is one of the friendliest BC I know. Greet also complain show black face also tio. Pity him. He's been a BC for about 30 (IIRC) years. On wed, sat and sun. He will wish everyone who board his bus good luck. He will say zao hui jia, chi wan can, zhu ni zhong ma piao. On other days he just wish them have a nice day / trip on his bus. Another BC used to help a woman carry her trolley up his bus. One day, he injured his back and cannot carry the her trolley up the bus. Guess what the pax did? Shot another Complain to SBST about an "Unhelpful" BC. More like an Ungratedful pax. Since that incident, he has avoided to go the extra mile. The pax take him for granted and complain when he is unable to help them. He sees no point in helping them. He said He is helpful, no one thank him. He is unable to help and the pax sent a complain letter about him to SBST. He's been a BC for about 5 years.
patdog112 SG i took b4 190.. the driver sibey hiong… when getting near bus stop he purposly accelerate break hard , while the bus still haven come to a stop he ji tao open 3 door
gorby107 SG There is a young female BC which I saw her driving Sv 112 last few weeks ago. She looked around 20+ to me. Saw her driving a DD on Sv 107 today

kengkia SG last night i took 985 on usual DAF buses and the BC was chionging very fast in the speed u can't imagine...in midst of big rain....while quite shiok but at the same time i fear for my life also....
