Mmm.. I dun think so.. Why dun you say about 2 years ago SL transferred most of the Volvo mark I to HGDEP? Hahaz, it is better to take those Vo2x or Vo3x then taking old scania, old volvo mark I or even Volvo mark III. Hahaz, thatmakes SLBP have the most DD in the whole of Singapore!

If JB MK3 are allocated on only 160 & 170, then why SBS587A is perm 7, and JB MK3s also appear on 16, 123, and 165? Are you saying that 7, 16, 123, and 165 are cross-border services? Please check your facts before posting and don't just say JB MK3s are only for 160 & 170.

From what I know, BBDEP has some JB SP buses. These can cameo on any route when not needed for cross-border runs.

Ever saw a JB Mk II (affixed with 170 sticker) on 96 during the era of NAC buses.

Yes, JB MK3s are primarily used for service 160 and 170. However, some of these buses will still be used on regular services, like those you mentioned. This is due to the fact that SBS Transit doesn't use all the JB MK3s at once. These small numbers are for contingencies.

In short, JB MK3s CAN appear on any services but 160 and 170 MUST operate using JB MK3s.As long as they have enough buses to meet the demand, the JB MK3s CAN be perm on any services as well.

That's why JB MK3s CAN be perm 175 because there are almost 15 JB MK3 SPs in BBDEP

587A may be perm on 7 , but it serves 170 as well , if not 587A would definately be de-registered from going to JB by SBS & the 3rd brake light at the rear would be removed. I seen it once not too long ago on 170 at Upp Bt Timah Rd. What the other author mean is that those Mk3s at BBDEP were mainly allocated to serve 160 & 170 but they can cameo on other services! Mostly those JB Mk3 spares are the ones which do cameo on those services u mentioned above , others don't cameo that often , but those SP JB Mk3s as well as 587A do serve 160/170.
