SBS9830M of Sv143 entered Toa Payoh Int at around 1.30PM today.

Huh? Last Month aint July. Cool The last July was more then 3 months ago.

lemon1974 SG

sv 88 need 10 more B9?
sv 161 need 3 more B9 (from HG) maybe?
sv 143 need 4-5 more B9?
sv 76 need 2 more B9 (should be 7481/7483)
sv 7 need any more B9?
sv 80 need any more B9?

so need around 18 more B9 at least?

But now left around 15 B9 not accounted for.

7480/7482/7485/7486/7487/7488/7489/7490/7491/7492/7493/7494/7495/7496/7498, excluding 7481/7483 (should be perm on 76, might be wrong though).

7485/7489/7490/7493/7496/7498 are in AMDEP as well (hopefully never get the rego wrong). so they might be deployed on sV 88 or Sv 143?

so left around 9 new B9 for SV 88/161/143? dun think it is enough unless they take those spare B9 to redeploy?

think have to just wait for the next two weeks and we shall know.

off_service SG

It seems like there's a few more B9TLs parked in SLBP.. should be for 143. I don't think 80 needs anymore.. it has a good 15 - 18 B9TLs. Service 7 if I'm not wrong has hit the 50% mark.

SBS2671B SG

Someone edited wiki saying that SBS9229A is SL SP, is this true??

If the person saw that SP marking on the wall, its a rather old one [my guess it is a bbdep writing] (and not SL marking). Thus, he is likely to have confused it with the SL marking (SL use stickers most of the time)

A similar marking can be found on SBS9261E which has a SV 196 marking, which of course was its old perm.

choww said he saw the 143 perm sticker still intact

I too see SBS9229A quite often

Thus, i presume that SBS9229A is likely to be still a SL 143 perm due to the ads and the 143 perm sticker there.

SBS9806J SG

Half of Service 7's fleet is B9TL (10/20 buses), so it is exaclty 50%.

BusSpeeder SG

for 143, the B9TL will most likely come from SLBP. not possible to be BRBP. the buses in AMDEP...... some might give 88, others most likely needed to cover another service.

BusSpeeder SG

from 72 then 88 wants it, when B9TL came they just give to another BRBP service. Shocked

BusSpeeder SG

correct me if im wrong, but most likely the LO3x that 88 has been getting was to be in exchange for B9TL?

SBS9806J SG

Why not possible to be BRBP?

service_238 SG

brbp 143 will get TWO B9s from amdep. slbp will deploy the remaining 14 or 15 units.

The rest from amdep will go to 88, total will have about 14 units

I dont think amdep will deploy anymore B9s on 161, wait for hgdep to start its stunts ba Laughing

what is "another service" are you talking about? Rolling Eyes

SBS9806J SG

Well, maybe it is something like this:

VO3X --> go out
LO3X
B9TL
LO3x --> go out

The LO3x replaces the VO3x
Then, the B9TL replaces the LO3x

VO3x --> LO3x --> B9TL

SBS9806J SG

Apparenlty SBS851L is now 81 in sgwiki?

lemon1974 SG

because, he only want B9 to be on AMDEP service...

BusSpeeder SG

must be to replace the LO3x in brbp then. as expected but wasn't too sure whether the LO3x in brbp will be replaced.

the B9TL going to 88 replaces the LO3x that will be given to other BRBP buses?

i presume, PRESUME, not factual, that it is 166. they are quite a number of people who are supportive of 166 being one with B9TL.

BusSpeeder SG

because BRBP controls 5 buses for 143. even if so, only 2 B9TL will go to replace the LO3x.

lemon1974 SG

i have alrd mentioned this in one of my earlier post (around 2-3 weeks) when the VO3x was transferred out that the B9 might replace the LO3x on SV 88.

And these extra LO3x from SV 88 might be deployed on other AM/BR service or even transfer to SLBP..

Cos they wont want to transfer those VO3x batch III to SLBP i guess. So they make some internal switch between AM and BR first..

SBS9806J SG

Maybe even for JIS?

SBS2671B SG

Mercedez edited SBS9229A in wiki, saying it was SL SP, is that true? I see it on 143 very often. It has still a perm 143 sticker (as stated by choww) but he saw an old SP witing on the wall. I saw this writing too and i think it is a very very old one (plus,it is faded), as SBS9261E has a Sv 196 writing on the wall, (of course was its old perm lah). This SP writing, i think it was when SBS9229A it was probably a BB/AR SP ages ago.

thus SBS9229A should still be a 143 perm.

brotherchen1982 SG

Or U can check the [small perm sticker] sticked on the coinbox facing the BC. Cool

Most SL-based bus started this during last mth.

choww SG

Still on 143 today..

And which are the scanias that have been transfered from AMDEP/BRBP to BNDEP?

Who edit in wiki that SBS391Y is BRBP 90? I have NOT even seen this bus on 90..
