I took 7317S on svc 21. Fantastic bus. The time I took that bus,
it came from the bus depot. First revenue service for this bus
around lunch time. I talked to a few drivers, they were very happy
with the bus. It was quiet in front (driver's cabin area) , engine
was quiet and smooth. Unlike 98XX series VSO , this bus is more
powerful in acceleration especially climbing uphill. The seating
arrangement in both lower and upper back seats are pretty unique .
Lower deck ( remind me of those old non-aircon Leyland buses ) and
upper deck (I find it pretty wierd seating at the back with the
seat in front facing each other, but I guess I can get used to
it.)
I definately prefer this bus over VSO (98XX series). In fact this
bus has the potential to become my favourite DD bus. For those that
have not taken it. You will enjoy the bus.
