Service 178 is a full Nissan fleet (regreadless of OAC or CAC) as on October 2006, the most number of Nissan buses in the whole of SMRT fleet.

Service 187 will have a number of Nissans deployed daily (mainly TIB373G, TIB1254K, CSS191X and CSS192T, just to name a few).

Service 981 is also a full OAC Nissan fleet comprising of 2 buses.

Service 980 have 1 OAC Nissan which is doing split shifts (CSS183U - ex roving bus)

Service 853 also have 1 CAC Nissan which is doing split shifts too (TIB1256E). Sometimes may have more than 1 Nissans too.

Service 852 and 855 occasionally do have Nissan cameos too (OAC and CAC).

The NAC ones were scrapped in end 2001 after CSS 602 was withdrawn, together with TIB337L-TIB352S (NAC Hinos that was on service 175).

The CAC ones were scrapped somewhere in 2003-2004 when CSS 603 and 607 were withdrawn.

By the way does service 882 have crossover buses from service 980?? I remember Sunday there's one crossover on service 882 before it goes to service 980 T-shift.

Well, seeing CSS being taken apart service by service throughout these years have been quite a sad thing… I still remembered the one and only time I took the Hispano DAF, from Tangs to Dolby Ghaut, a short hop down Orchard Road, but that was a really good ride, not sure about the year though, but I estimate it to be around 99-01.

I think 882 is both AMDEP & WLDEP, like 167

882 is WLDEP,Only a crossover from AMDEP suppliment during meal times on both shift.For 167 some AMDEP SL take the buses from WLDEP.

Don't think so. Service 882 is based under AMDEP with TIB784D as a perm bus serving A/P shift. This service sometimes do have crossover buses from service 980's S-shift (regradless of AMDEP or WLDEP) Wink

Service 981 is unpredictable. Sometimes OAC(TIB-registered or CSS183U)or CAC. But once it had an ELBO Scania! I think it was TIB84**

It is really unpredictable due to the reason that its perms TIB367A and TIB369U are also cameoing regularly on other WLDEP services like 178 and 187, same applies to service 980's CSS183U timing Wink

You may not believe this. However, back in 2001, service 981 started operation with TIB 1130 J. No one would have thought that it's now having a UD fleet...
