Of course mah, 198 is a WAB service mah. If you don't see lots of B9TL on 198, then you will see a lot of clones starting threads complaining about SBS NOT P...

I think it is service 72 because it doesn’t have much people in wheelchair boarding it do they? Also, I don’t think this service pass through any Hospital or Polyclinic if I not worng. Anyway, I hope service 72 has a bit like what you say and so….

carbikebus SG

IMO,The bus although is wheelchair accessible but doesn’t mean it cant be deployed on non-wheelchair routes mah,If that’s the cases then Scania K230 die die must ply hospitals is it?

Y_Shun SG

sooner or later will all be WAB one la....

infact, i have yet to seen the ramp being used before....

bus555 SG

Yup and I think I should think twice before opening a thread.

In the first place, Svc 72 is not a WAB service. Drivers are told NOT to pick up PIWs. Doesnt see dont mean that there are no PIWs taking the B9s. Just last sunday, i was helping a PIW to board Svc 147. Boy, travel more... and you will get to see more things going on. Dont assume things.

i think sbst shld organise some sort of "seminar" to learn more abt its buses and also teach the public how to operate a ramp so the bus can depart faster. now it's like the bus captain bao ka liao.

sBs_boy SG

I guess, what SBST wants to do now is to seek the understanding from the public that there may be times when there is a slight delay along the journey. Something as simple as that.

service_238 SG

you wait until amdep finally geng out one new WAB service then some from 72 will go there Laughing

Its convenience sake that they vomit the whole lot on 72 to facillitate driver familiarisation.

ZYX2005 SG

u try posting this topic once ALL svcs in SG have WAB.

frankly it does not matter which svc get WAb bus now. every svcs will get soon

BusSpeeder SG

not all svcs! if all u see wab buses involved in accidents such as crashing on height limits bridges.

Y_Shun SG

muziq bus SG

Start reading from my post...

sBs_boy SG

Get this right..
WAB = Wheelchair Accessible Bus

At this moment, we simply refer B9s as the WABs since they are the only Wheelchair Accessible Bus around. In time to come, when we have other WABs on the roads, i guess we should make ourselves clear on which bus we are referring to as WAB will not mean B9TLs. I hope all forummates will take note of this.

bendy2003 SG

No, 72 does pass by one polyclinic

bus555 SG

Yar I know, Hougang Polyclinic right?

BusSpeeder SG

wah 3 pple quote my post. but i'll reply urs. dere are pple who still regard wab DDs as the present wab buses. wait till the wab SDs to come then say. at least they will familiarise themselves with the wab SDs. as i said, there are still people who still regard wab DDs as the present wab buses and they don't even noe of the wab SDs coming.

and to u and the 2 other person who replied: yes i do know dat wab SDs are coming. but with only little information about it.

bus555 SG

Well actually guys, I find that taking B9TL bus is very common and I think I like the design of a B9TL. The pole are orange not like other buses and a seat at the upper deck, it is spacious and I think this bus is okay to me in the first place and I think it looks better without TV Mobile right?
