Hmm Hino or whatever, as long it has air-suspension, we wouldn't
hate the bus right guys? Also, Japanese buses might be EuroIV
compliant, but are they WAB in the first place?
Eh skarly SMRT register it as TBTxxxx , cause is Trains , Buses ,
Taxis mah.
Also, if they choose Japanese buses, i want them to be Voithed leh!
Want to see how they perform with Voith!
Chassis whatever sh1t i dont care, most important
is the bodywork. If the bodywork is excellent and beautiful like
the Habit and the B9TL's and Volgren's, even if the chassis suck,
it would make the bus a favourite.
Regarding the OC500LE, i heard from wikipedia that Mercedes Benz
will offer an EuroIV compliant OC500LE from late 2005. Not sure if
true anot, if its true, SMRT might take a loan from the bank and
choose the OC500LE. Btw, do you guys think that the Scania K230
with an EuroIV 230hp engine is underpowered? I dont think so leh.
Despite only 230bhp and five cylinders, it produces 1050nm of
torque, which is quite sufficient, maybe it only cannot speed.
