I assume you will be at Bedok central, so here is my
suggeston:
1. Take MRT to Queenstown, alight, and at the concourse, turn left
and walk to the bus stop there to take route 195. Can be quite
crowded though (I sometimes take route 195 from this station to
CMPB, so I know).
2. Alternatively, if you want to avoid the crowd, turn right at the Queenstown station
concourse, and take route 51 from the bus stop there. I only tried
this once in the reverse direction, so I'm not so sure about the
crowd. However, route 51 has tons of double decks, so the situation
may not be very bad. It takes a rather indirect route, though.
