I live in an area where theres only SMRT bus services. All the
bus drivers will slow down when approaching every stop in case
there are slow response commuters or ppl waiting at bus-stop never
see bus coming. Some will even drive through every bus-stop, and
when there is ppl sitting in the bus-stop, they will always
stop.
So naturally I got the habit of not waving to flag a bus when I
wanna board.
However, there is once I took a SBS transit bus around orchard
there. I sat in the bus-stop, alone. 1 bus came, I stood up, took
out my wallet when it is still a junction away. It zoom past me!
The second 1 nearly did that too. The driver slow down last
minute.
Not complaining. But do you need to wave to stop a SBS bus?
