I noticed some people like doing this, especially on feeder buses. Usually old aunties.

They would board the bus and tap their cards on the reader, and then move to the exit and then immediately tap their cards again there, before getting a seat.

Do you do such things? Do you feel that people who do such are very cheapskate and low-classed?

Usually Feeder Service a lot of people did that because either they lazy to tap when exiting or maybe some other reasons like carrying heavy things , etc..

The rebate if I'm not wrong is only valid within 30 mins aft you tap at the exit reader Laughing

Actually it does not make any difference on whether u tap now or later for feeders.Only trunk services matters Mr. Green . The only person to lose out is yourself if u were to do a transfer after that. Laughing

Possible reasons for doing so:
1. Feeder service, so flat-fare irregardless of distance travelled.
2. Senior senior, also flat-fare for off-peak period.
3. Students on concession passes, free use of passes.

Also notice that some passengers paid their fare twice as they tap their card on the enterance reader when they alight and the reader shows 'ENTRY'. Some BC saw it also keep quiet. Laughing
