Bus drives up divider, and into a sign

http://singaporeseen.stomp.com.sg/viewPost2428.aspx

Motorists driving along Stevens Road were met with a horrific sight this morning (29 Mar) - a bus had driven up a road divider and into a road sign.

The driver of SMRT Service 960 shuttle bus had swerved to make a sharp turn at the junction of Stevens Road and Whitley Road, and in the process had crashed into a Subaru.

The force then sent the car slamming into a traffic light post, shattering the lights upon impact.

According to an SMRT personnel at the scene, the bus passengers mainly escaped unharmed, and only the bus driver was injured.

The accident, which had occurred at around 9 am, attracted plenty of curious passer-bys and motorists.

This happens all the time. Last time when TIBS buses were involved in accidents, the reporters wrote "SBS" when the word "TRANSISLAND" was so obvious in the picture!
