If you're talking about the sides of the bus, after the rearmost
lower deck window or emergency exit. They have it originally in the
first place.
On the emergency exit side, there is an additional louver above the
normal grille.
Like what Y-Shun said, I think they just anyhow install into the
interior, like the CSS183U Roving Bus.
