SMRT 980 to bus stop at Tekka Mall (this is the mall with Sheng
Siong Supermarket and after the bus stop outside the Little India
NEL Station).
Cross the road, walk to bus stop outside Sim Lim Square, change to
SBST 23.
It's a 35-min ride to Temasek Poly from there.
Or take MRT to Tampines, change to SBST 23. Stops right outside
TP.
