Windows can liao. The panes which are made of hard plastic and has sharp edges are originally air-conditioned. The panes which are made of rubber and has curved edges are originally non-air-conditioned.

SMRT easier to distinguish...CAC Hispano mercs have rooftop aircon units...with the exception of TIB741C and TIB779U, which has underfloor a/c. Also, their windows were not refitted like that of the SBST, therefor some windows can still be opened...but most are locked with screws and bolts. Mr. Green

Depending on which depot are the buses in, AMDEP buses, most of them you can open windows. KJDEP and WLDEP not so much, especially KJDEP use silicon go and block that area where the windows slide.

Not necessary. Many CAC O405s have TV Mobiles too.
The OAC buses have purple A/C paneling but the CACs don't.
The OACs also has a different type of seats, the OAC seats are the older type are are flat at the back, with metal poles at the edges extending upwards to form the grip on top of the seat. The metal grip is then wrapped with a layer of rubber (plastic?)

The CAC ones have newer seats and have a pattern at the back of the seat. The grip on top of the seat is fully rubber and is screwed onto the seat.

So I find the CAC seats have slightly smaller legroom! Shocked

Anyway, really miss those NAC Hispano mercs days....powerful engine with moderate speed and good acceleration just makes a trip on the NAC Mercs a windy trip. Very Happy CAC Hispano Mercs are one of my most fav buses of all time...NAC ...all buses i love them ... Esp the CRBs. Mr. Green
