Scania N113CRB luver SG MKIV DM3500 some of them, when the doors are opened then it sounds...SMRTs are speed limiter....if you are lucky, you might get onto a OAC Hispano merc on 171 dat have this beeper speed limiter.
SBS9806J SG Some Striders also have beeping sound (e.g. SBS1967E). But the loudest beeping sound is B9TLs. Turning signal, door open, always have sound. Sometimes can be a bit irritating
menoob SG psst psst is becoz buses r using air brakes stepping or releasing pedal cause air to escape/trapped
Scania N113CRB luver SG But releasing of brakes shouldnt sound like psst psst...instead it should sound like shhh shhhh.....take the LRT(bukit Panjang) and O405s for example. Try taking a bendy bus (Habit esp).... stand at the front of the bus...when the BC releases the brakes it sounds shhh shhh to me, instead of psst psst leh.
dfs24 SG Speaking of VO2x, there was one which caught fire opposite clementi interchange before the bus stop where 105, 99 and 154 stop. The back of the bus was charred and v. black. The bus stop with 154 going in the direction of eunos. I did not catch the rego though.
kenn3th SG yea, i was opp pioneer mall, and i saw it going past me psst psst psst, dunno how the driver takes it
kenn3th SG doubt so, reason? read my topic, cause driver i dont think is stepping on any brakes, just acc, then lyke that, the bus ride is unstable and jerky
alleggerita SG We won't know what causes the psst psst sound unless we ask the mechanics..haha..but there aren't much possible causes except the gearbox or the brakes..but i have this gut feeling that it's the brakes that cause this psst psst sound..the driver need not step on the brakes to make that sound, it might be a problem with the brakes that it releases air even though the brakes are not used..but best to ask the mechanics..lol..
stooper SG Yeah, might be an air leakage somewhere. But there's no psst sound when the bus is stopped. It only happens when it's moving.
