Hey there everyone.

Bus Drivers are just humans like us. Occasionally they show attitude because they got so fed up with passengers who treat them equally rude or worse. Once you're in their shoes, you'll know how difficult their job can be. It's not just those that you see inside job description about it being a challenging career etc. There're loads of sour stories behind them..

No matter which company those bus drivers are from, their hardwork should be appreciated.

a few weeks back i took a bus SBST svc 162 frm bsh to yck int .... n this indian BC ... super friendly ..... when i got up the bus .. he greeted me with a " Good afternoon Sir .... Welcome aboard " .... i was so totally stunned .. cos seldom got BC this friendly ..... n tats not it ... he greeted every passenger who boarded his bus along the journey ... n when ppl tr alighting .. esp elderly ppl he will tell them to sit down first till the bus stop fully liao den alight ..... den at int he will say gdbye to his passengers ..... this was the best BC i ever met ...
but i only saw him once nia ...... i tink he not regular driver of tat svc

There is this BC on 302 , usually he drive TIB868X , and he smile at the pax including me when onboard the bus , and usually he will wait for the pax if the pax is faraway and trying to catch the bus and the pax thanked the BC , hmm , i think he is the best BC for 302.

I've met him before, and he's the BC who always wears a mickey mouse glove right? Laughing But mark my words, he's really friendly and nice. Cool

SBST BCs in fact are more courteous due to fact that SBST are easy to complain on poor performances.SBST holds majority of public trasport compared to SMRTB.SMRTB won’t entertain minor complains.They will attend only to moderate and major complains

This is what i think SMRT thinks of minor complaints:
"HAH?? Air-con boh good arh? Leaky ? Aiya! Heck care those people lah! Always buay tahan these people one! Aircon no good? ask them next time bring along a portable fan lah those used for baby one. Bus leaky? Ask them bring a small umbrella when take bus lah! Nen shen zhe shen!(Be thrifty!) Dont waste money!" Very Happy

not all SMRTB BCs are like that, in fact i think their better in terms of greeting compared to SBST BCs, SBST BCs only care if u pay the fare and thats all
