Unless you want to take 167 or 980 to Thomson change for 132. The waiting time for these 3 services... Rolling Eyes ... my advice is also train..

Unfortunately, you either take a train or you can:

try taking 980 to the area around National Library, and the walking over to catch 33 or 145,
try taking 167 to the Stamford Road/Dhoby Ghaut area, and then catching 64,
or as mentioned, take 167 to Thomson Road, then switch to 132,

but this will either make your ass burn up on a bus seat, or you will die of impatience simply by just waiting for some of these bus routes Laughing .

i found a route.......take mrt to orchard then walk to far east plaza the bus stop then take service 132 to reach redhill mrt station

like this i can save time without the need of transferring twice

I did this many years ago,the distance seems a lot shorter shorter but the time taken give and take is about the same.So again taxi is the fastest way to travel in around SIngapore.

when he say aim redhill does not mean he cannot walk le.

the following will bring u to alexandra road where u cna see the redhill stn from alex rd

1) now can try take bus from sbw out to yishun. then hop onto bus 171. take bus 171 out to bt timah road around king albert park then hit bus 970.

2) try take bus 980 / 167 out to upp thomson then trasnfer bus 165/855. these two bus not much wait. likely u get off at upp thomsonr d then trasnfer. take either bus down to farrer road. wait pateintly for bus 186 to redhill

3) take ZYX987 out to farrer road. transfer to ZYX126 to redhill
4) take ZYX987 to holland cross road hit ZYX5 to redhill / ZYX978 to the station itself
5) take ZYX988 to AYE trasnfer ZYX33
6) take ZYX988 to jln anak bukit, trasnfer ZYX978 to redhill mrt along tiong bahru rd.
7) take ZYX167fast (167F) to scotts rd, trasnfer ZYX132

otherwise the dreaded 980/167 to thomson then bus 132 is still probably ok. note: wait for 132 can be 29 mins long at times. can scare people off route 132.
